We've Got A Class For You

BLYS holds in-studio yoga and fitness classes, as well as outdoor classes on a floating platform at Annapolis Sailing School June through September. Click to view our current schedule.

Yoga

Breathwork & Reiki

Release stress and invite clarity, presence, and ease. In this bi-weekly class students lie down and engage in open-mouth, circular breath, while Amy moves about the space offering Reiki assists.

Prenatal Yoga

Research shows that practicing yoga during pregnancy offers numerous benefits for women and their babies. It's also a great way to connect with other mothers-to-be!

Vinyasa II

Vinyasa II is perfect for seasoned beginners and intermediate practitioners who are ready to expand their practice. Expect a dynamic class with opportunities for advanced asana in a 90° room.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a soft, well-supported practice. Slow transitions allows yogis to connect with their breath and relax their minds. This class is appropriate for all levels of ability and experience.

Restorative Yoga

The practice brings about a relaxed state where there is no movement and the brain is quiet. Attendees are fully supported with props so they can experience a deep sense of relaxation.

Vin/Yin Yoga

Vin/Yin Yoga blends a flowing vinyasa practice with yin yoga postures. Students first move though a vinyasa sequence, and conclude with a series of supported yin yoga postures.

Hot Power Vinyasa

This dynamic style of yoga focuses on building strength and endurance. Power Vinyasa is a music-driven, flowing class that takes place in a room heated to 95°. Leave feeling balanced and invigorated!

Vinyasa I

This slow-paced flowing practice connects breath to movement. Levels 1 is perfect for those who are either new to vinyasa yoga or prefer a gentler, more descriptive class.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing the joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Guests hold poses for 3-5 minutes, using props to create as little effort as possible.

Fitness

Barre

A BLYS barre class mixes elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and functional training. Clients use the barre and various props to sculpt, stretch and tone the body to a motivating playlist!

Pop-up Pilates

Pilates is a low impact exercise format that focuses on the small, deep muscles to enhance balance, core strength, and flexibility. This class "pops up" on the schedule once a month.

Power Core

This BLYS signature format combines yoga with fitness moves designed to isolate and strengthen the true core. Props like blankets, gliders, and balls are incorporated, plus an upbeat playlist!
